SOUTHFIELD, Mich. – Brooks Kushman P.C. is pleased to announce that Ben Harel has been appointed Chief Information Officer of the firm. As the Director of IT at Brooks Kushman, Harel supported the growth of the firm through technology solutions, and will continue to do so in his new position. In the nearly 10 years that Harel has been with the firm, he has implemented, developed and managed technology to support the firm’s practices, security and facilitated the client relationship by improving opportunities for collaboration.

Harel is also the chief technology liaison for the firm’s cybersecurity practice. He brings technical expertise to legal cybersecurity challenges, and acts as a technical bridge between clients and our attorneys who are handling the legal implications of cybersecurity. He is also responsible for the continued development of the firm’s information security and technology compliance policy.
While with Brooks Kushman, Harel has brought technological improvements to the firms many practices, including efficiency improvements in automation, e-discovery, document review, document management, and workflow. His commitment to learning and the exploration of emerging technologies, including machine learning, AI, cloud e-discovery, and big data analytics, continues to solidify the firm on the cutting edge of technology.
