SOUTHFIELD, Michigan – Brooks Kushman Attorneys Ben Stasa and Erin Bowles will be presenting for the Federal Bar Association: “Bankruptcy vs. Innovation: How Financial Struggles Impact Intellectual Property Rights.” This session can be used for CLE Credit, and will be broadcast on March 24, 2023, from 12 – 1:00 PM EST.
Using a game show format, this interactive session will explore the impact of bankruptcy on IP licensor and licensee rights. Attendees will be presented with a series of factual scenarios and questions regarding the same and be given the opportunity to vote on which of several supplied answers is most correct. Stasa and Bowles will then compare audience intuition, as measured by voting results, against the “correct” answer. After, participants will have a heightened awareness of the impact bankruptcy proceedings may have on IP rights.
