Brooks Kushman Hires Molly Mack as Trademark Attorney

     Brooks Kushman announced today that Molly A. Mack has joined the law firm as a trademark attorney. The announcement was made by Ernie L. Brooks, president and founding partner. Mack will focus on trademark clearance, prosecution and licensing. She also will monitor and enforce the trademark rights of her clients.
     She has nearly seven years of experience in trademark licensing and enforcement from working at Equity Management Inc., a corporate trademark licensing company in Troy, Mich. She also has four years of general civil litigation experience from Kupelian Ormond & Magy, P.C. in Southfield, Mich., which has provided her with valuable perspectives when counseling clients.
     Mack earned her juris doctorate degree, graduating cum laude, from Wayne State University in Detroit and a bachelor`s degree from Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo. While at Wayne State, she served as assistant editor and senior articles editor for The Wayne Law Review and received honors in legal research and writing.
     She is a member of the State Bar of Michigan and has been admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan. She also is a member of the American Bar Association, Oakland County Bar Association, International Trademark Association, Michigan Intellectual Property Law Association, Defense Research Institute and Michigan Defense Trial Counsel.
