SOUTHFIELD, Mich. – Brooks Kushman Registered Patent Agent Stephanie Mansfield will discuss intellectual property related to innovations in the medical industry as a guest speaker at the Henry Ford Innovation Institute`s William Davidson Center for Entrepreneurs in Digital Health on October 10, 2014.

Mansfield will discuss the patentability of medical innovations and best practices for transforming ideas into market-ready products in her presentation.

The Davidson Center for Entrepreneurs in Digital Health is designed to educate both internal Henry Ford Health System employees and external candidates on innovation and entrepreneurship.

Mansfield has nearly two decades of experience in drafting and prosecuting patent applications in the biomedical and mechanical arts. She holds a Doctorate and Master of Science in biomedical engineering and a Master of Science in mechanical engineering from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor of Science in biomedical engineering from Northwestern University.
