ANN ARBOR, Mich. – Brooks Kushman Patent Agent Stephanie Mansfield will present at University of Michigan’s Biomedical Engineering Career Day on Friday, February 5th at the Rackham Graduate School. The event connects companies with bright and motivated students studying Biomedical Engineering. Employers will learn about the current student’s skills and experience, and get the opportunity to introduce their company and provide an industrial perspective to student’s career search questions, as well as a mutually beneficial networking opportunity.
Mansfield will represent Brooks Kushman alongside companies representing the healthcare, medical device, government and public service, automotive, research and development, software development, biotechnology and consumer products industries. She will present on an industry panel discussing careers in the field of biomedical engineering.
Mansfield has nearly two decades of experience in drafting and prosecuting patent applications in the biomedical and mechanical arts, with particular emphasis in the areas of medical, orthopedic and biomechanical devices, tissue engineering and consumer products. She holds a Doctorate and Master of Science in biomedical engineering and a Master of Science in mechanical engineering from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor of Science in biomedical engineering from Northwestern University.
