SOUTHFIELD, Mich. – For the third consecutive year, Brooks Kushman is participating in the Challenge Detroit initiative and will welcome Challenge Detroit Fellow, Carmen Bojanowski, to the team. Launching year three of its program, Challenge Detroit is an urban revitalization project bringing innovative leaders to the city to live, work, play, give and lead in the community.
Carmen holds a Bachelor of Science in Journalism and Communications from Eastern Michigan University. In her role with Brooks Kushman, she will be help the firm build its brand by developing website content, media materials and managing its social media pages.

In addition to working at Brooks Kushman, Carmen will join the Challenge Detroit Fellows and work with non-profits throughout the year to address regional challenges and opportunities, including education, public health, and community development.
“Joining Challenge Detroit and Brooks Kushman gives me the chance to look at Detroit through a whole new lens,” said Bojanowski. “I have always called metro Detroit home, but working with this group of fellows allows me to really make a positive impact in the city during one of its most transitional times.”
