November 29, 2010 – John S. LeRoy, litigation shareholder at Brooks Kushman provides Corporate Counsel with his perspective on E-Discovery.  He discusses the inefficiencies associated with taking native files and converting them to TIFF files.  There’s a significant cost to the producing party in the native to TIFF conversion, with no added value but a net loss of useful information.  LeRoy states, “It’s so frustrating to me to get a PowerPoint in TIFF because there’s a lot of detail lost in conversion.”  It`s much more efficient to receive the native files upfront.
