SOUTHFIELD, Mich. – Brooks Kushman attorneys Hope V. Shovein and Jennifer K. Ziegler have been chosen to serve two-year terms on International Trademark Association (INTA) committees.
Their committees are:
Hope Shovein – Impact Studies Committee
- In this role, Shovein will help coordinate the creation of research projects and studies that support INTA’s policy and communications activities. As a committee member, Shovein will also liaise with committees in the Advocacy, Communications, and Resources Groups to assess needs for such studies and will work with internal or external resources to conduct or commission the study. Finally, the committee will advise on the publication and communication of the study.
Jennifer Ziegler – UNREAL Campaign Committee, second term
- In this role, Ziegler will work with INTA’s public awareness initiative to educate teenagers (ages 14-18) about the importance of trademarks, intellectual property, and the dangers of counterfeit products. During her last appointment to the committee, Ziegler helped run student engagement sessions in both Michigan and Florida.
